Obama and the common treason + Jon Stewart takes on AIPAC

So, Obama has been at AIPAC recently...

Lets start this shindig with Jon Stewart's and the Daily Show's take on AIPAC and Obama's speech to that organization. Normally a video like this would be a bonus material on my blog, but Stewart has a way of nailing things in a succint way.

This is well worth watching. Lets get some quotes from Jon in this shindig.

Jon Stewart:
"You can't say anything critical of Israel and be elected president (of USA)".

"Presumptive republican nominee John McCain, presumptive democratic nominee Barack Obama, presumptive president Hillary Clinton all addressed the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee".

What is AIPAC?

If you read my blog and have ANY understanding of how American politics REALLY work, you ought to be aware of it.

If not, google it, or even go to that organization's own page:
www.aipac.org - AIPAC on AIPAC.

As America's leading pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC works with both Democratic and Republican political leaders to enact public policy that strengthens the vital U.S.-Israel relationship. With the support of its members nationwide, AIPAC has worked with Congress and the Executive Branch on numerous critical initiatives -- from securing vital foreign aid for Israel to stopping Iran's illicit nuclear program.

"America's leading pro-Israel lobby" - this organization lobbies for a foreign country. Yes, if you don't know already, in America there are all kinds of lobbies, and some of them work for foreign governments and countries and, by definition, against American interests.

If you follow my blog, you know that "Stopping Iran's illicit nuclear program" is a code phrase for 'pushing America into yet another war on behalf of Israel'.

The most important thing to get out of this AIPAC on AIPAC self congratulatory piece, the key phrase in the paragraph above is: AIPAC works with both Democratic and Republican political leaders.

They pressure both parties' candidates and politicians; regardless of their party, beliefs or ranking: democrats, republicans, presidents, senators, all are pressured to serve Israeli interests FIRST and American interests second, if at all.

See this video for an explanation of AIPAC, it's a good 2 minutes spent seeing proving what AIPAC is all about.

The action starts at minute 1:41, if you are pressed for time take it from there.

Now, about Mr. Obama...

Obama is the same kind of politician that Bill Clinton has been: ambitious, intelligent, erudite, good speaker, great charisma... but all about his own political power. You think he is so different from that harpy Hillary and that cynical man, Bill Clinton?

You think Obama will rethink NAFTA? Do you believe that he will call an Israeli Prime Minister and ask that the IDF lift the checkpoints and Israeli settlers pack up and leave the West Bank? Do you think he will try to stop the civil war in Sri Lanka? The war in Darfur?

Puh-lease.

Obama is just good PR to show to the rest of the world while continuing the same policies that Clinton, Bush1 and Bush2 have supported.

Look world - a black guy is an American president! Look how far we have come!

We are progressives, we are like Europe now, we had a woman in the running for president too! We are just like you, world! See, we moved beyond Bush2!

But, world, make sure not to notice too much the fact that we stay in Iraq for the whole Obama presidency, that Obama bombs Iran, that Obama's America pursues the same globalist, pro-Israel and pro multinational business policies it has pursued since Bush1 and before.

Instead, world, look at Obama smile - this man has charisma!

Sigh...

All you need to know about Obama, his characted and what he is about is in these two following articles:

Huffingtonpost: "Bill Kristol At AIPAC: Obama And McCain "Don't Actually Differ" On Iran"
Need i say any more?

Change?

But wait - there is more!

Even a better, more scathing expose of Obamania.
Washingtonpost article about Obama's exertions at AIPAC, with choice quotes below.
A mere 12 hours after claiming the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama appeared before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee yesterday -- and changed himself into an Israel hard-liner.

It's funny 'cuz it's true. AIPAC is the most important campaign stop for any American politician, from a presidential candidate on down.

He promised $30 billion in military assistance for Israel. He declared that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force has "rightly been labeled a terrorist organization." He used terms such as "false prophets of extremism" and "corrupt" while discussing Palestinians. And he promised that "Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided."

"He used terms such as "false prophets of extremism" and "corrupt" while discussing Palestinians."

Change?

Yes, more change ($) for Israel I guess.

Vowing to stop Tehran from getting a nuclear weapon, the newly minted nominee apparent added: "I will always keep the threat of military action on the table to defend our security and our ally, Israel. Do not be confused."

It seems that American people are confused by a slick PR campaign. Gotta say, Obama's PR was awesome - all he talked about was change without many specifics.

Change?

In Public Relations department, only. America will stay the same, only the PR will change (as Bush2 was disastrous for America's image in the world, and Obama is here to repair that image). Do not be confused, we are going to attack Iran, sooner or later. ALL presidential candidates - Obama, Hillary, McCain - agree on this issue. So does the current nitwit, Bush2. There is no difference to how far they will go to pander to the all powerful pro Israel Lobby at the expense of this country's and its citizens interests.

The crowd of 7,000 (AIPAC delegates -AG) loved him anyway. He received 13 standing ovations, more than twice the number granted the next act, Hillary Clinton. The AIPAC faithful gushed about his performance as they left the Washington Convention Center.

Look how far we have fallen as a country.

Placing other country's interests over the interests of the country one is a citizen of - that is treason, the very definition of.

And this is shown on American TV, and the clueless Americans watch it and don't go out into the streets in their thousands and protest?

This is not a country - this is a business interest. America, Inc. For the highest bidder. Sold, to that Middle Eastern gentleman who has all American politicians dancing like puppets!

Obama, Hillary, McCain - what's the difference?

"A mere 12 hours after claiming the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama appeared before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee yesterday -- and changed himself into an Israel hard-liner."
This tells you all you need to know about American politics, America and what is going on in this country.

The pro Israel Lobby will be VERY strong in Obama's administration. Obama WILL (maybe, perhaps, who knows?) move out the majority of American troops out of Iraq, but only to make it easier to strike at Iran later on in his administration.

Did you buy the John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy book yet?

Did you discuss it with your closest friends?

It is getting late for America. The hour is late, and something needs to be done.

We need REAL change.

Now.

Before it is too late.

Before the Israeli Lobby destroys this country, everything this country stands for, and corrupts even more our political system.

Bonus Material:
Some more choice quotes about everyone's favorite "change" candidate who will "change" politics in the US as we know it (snort, guffaw, milk snorted thru the nose):

He invoked the Holocaust ("Never again!"), pledged to "never compromise" Israel's security, and scolded those who propose "abandoning a stalwart ally." He offered more military equipment and missile defense for Israel, vowed to "isolate Hamas," and threatened to "do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything in my power. . . . Everything."

The war is ON, suckers!

"I know that Senator Obama will be a good friend to Israel," Clinton vouched.

The winner of the nomination was sounding like Bibi Netanyahu as he spoke about preserving Israel's "qualitative military advantage" to thwart "any threat from Gaza to Tehran."

Military threat from gaza to Israel?
With what - a slingshot? Sticks? Stones? I guess the fact that Obama "promised $30 billion in military assistance for Israel" should hold them up.

"The danger from Iran is grave, it is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat," he added.

Did I mention before that the war IS on, bitches!

Finally, I leave you with this final quote from Dana's article:
The Superman music soon returned, and the man with the Star of David on his lapel left the dais in a shower of hugs and kisses from the AIPAC officers.

Change?

CHANGE?!

The treason by EVERY important American politician will continue, we WILL attack Iran, and we WILL increase US "aid" to Israel every year.

And Americans will continue to be looked upon as Israeli stooges, who are so clueless that they don't even know when they are being used as such.

Why are Americans such idiots, so clueless, so apathetic, so... pathetic?

The media brainwashing us is no longer an excuse - the internet is out there, and you can research complex topics as well as get ACTUAL, real news from America and the rest of the world in less than 10 minutes a day.

Even if you don't have a computer at home, you can go to a library and "surf" the web for free, with no limits.

Why do I even try?

Onward to Iran.

Time to cheer the TV reports of "smart weapons" bombing from the air, while conveniently skipping over the (virtually never shown) TV reports showing American men and women, ages 18 to 30, without legs, without arms, with one eye, painfully dragging themselves over a hospital floor or, some, confined to a bed for the rest of their life...

Bonus Material 2: What do r. Weiss' and Mr. Silverstein's say?

Jon Stewart Calls AIPAC 'Elders of Zion'

Obama Gets It Wrong, So Do I

Jon Stewart takes on AIPAC
Richard writes:
Jon Stewart: "One part about being a good friend to a country like Israel is constructive criticism of any of its policies that may not be in the best interest of the world. So let’s hear the candidates’ critiques of current Israeli policy. [Images of Obama, Clinton and McCain standing silently] Oh, I forgot. You can’t say anything remotely critical of Israel and still get elected president. Which is funny because you know where you can criticize Israel? Ah…Israel."

Bravo, Stewart! Frankly, I can’t remember any comedian taking on such a subject especially not on TV. Face it, the AIPACers are now the butt of jokes, which is only as it should be.

Hey man, I saw you had a blog from Reddit, and I gotta agree with ya a bunch.

Obama seems dangerous to me because he is doing the same pro-Israel/pro-war stuff as McCain, except he has a legion of apologists behind him acting like he's just doing it to get into office and work "real agenda".

Keep up the good work.

I'm not voting for Obama, nor was I planning on voting for Obama even before he went to the BORG AIPAC Collective and pledged undying loyalty and subservience to that gang of cuthroats, robber barons and self-styled rulers of the world.

A "choice" between Obama and McCain is like giving a holdup victim the "choice" of being shot with a gun or stabbed with a knife.

Neither is desirable but you have to choose and do so quickly, or those behind and responsible for the attacks on America on 9/11 will both shoot and stab us in the heart...again.
