You knew this was coming - Israeli involvement in Georgia - Ossetia War

I was looking for some background on the Israeli involvement in the Georgian ethnic cleansing operation, after reading that there were American and Israeli "advisors" in the country.

Again, an offensive launched by Georgia, on the first day of the Olympics, with massive forces and artillery/rocket barrages unleashed on villages, towns and the capital city, a modern day blitzkrieg.

They tried to pull a Yugoslavia war part 2, but this time the USA is backing the ethnic cleansing and war criminals Serbs errr Georgians.

And lo and behold while going thru DIGG shouts I see this article:
War in Georgia: The Israeli connection by Arie Egozi, YNet News.

For past seven years, Israeli companies have been helping Gerogian army to preparer for war against Russia through arms deals, training of infantry units and security advice

Israel began selling arms to Georgia about seven years ago following an initiative by Georgian citizens who immigrated to Israel and became businesspeople.

"They contacted defense industry officials and arms dealers and told them that Georgia had relatively large budgets and could be interested in purchasing Israeli weapons," says a source involved in arms exports.

The military cooperation between the countries developed swiftly. The fact that Georgia's defense minister, Davit Kezerashvili, is a former Israeli who is fluent in Hebrew contributed to this cooperation.

Wait, what?

"Georgia's defense minister, Davit Kezerashvili, is a former Israeli who is fluent in Hebrew."

Interesting.

"His door was always open to the Israelis who came and offered his country arms systems made in Israel," the source said. "Compared to countries in Eastern Europe, the deals in this country were conducted fast, mainly due to the defense minister's personal involvement."

Among the Israelis who took advantage of the opportunity and began doing business in Georgia were former Minister Roni Milo and his brother Shlomo, former director-general of the Military Industries, Brigadier-General (Res.) Gal Hirsch and Major-General (Res.) Yisrael Ziv.

Very interesting.

Roni Milo conducted business in Georgia for Elbit Systems and the Military Industries, and with his help Israel's defense industries managed to sell to Georgia remote-piloted vehicles (RPVs), automatic turrets for armored vehicles, antiaircraft systems, communication systems, shells and rockets.

According to Israeli sources, Gal Hirsch gave the Georgian army advice on the establishment of elite units such as Sayeret Matkal and on rearmament, and gave various courses in the fields of combat intelligence and fighting in built-up areas.

So not only were Israel's defense industry involved in selling Georgia weapons (and if you think that Israeli arms companies are 100% private and not 100% controlled by the government, you are crazy, my friend).

The Israelis also trained Georgian armed forces.

the Russians viewed the operation of the Elbit System's RPVs as a real provocation.

"It was clear that the Russians were angry," says a defense establishment source, "and that the interception of three of these RPVs in the past three months was an expression of this anger. Not everyone in Israel understood the sensitive nerve Israel touched when it supplied such an advanced arms system to a country whose relations with Russia are highly tense."

Yeah, selling a country unmanned spy planes which would then be used to spy on my country would anger me... somewhat.

"The Israelis should be proud of themselves for the Israeli training and education received by the Georgian soldiers," Georgian Minister Temur Yakobashvili said Saturday.

Yakobashvili is a Jew and is fluent in Hebrew. "We are now in a fight against the great Russia," he said, "and our hope is to receive assistance from the White House, because Georgia cannot survive on its own.

This reminds me of my article - the one on school bullying.

Many bullies are cowards, and when confronted with a bigger, third kid in the altercation, a friend of the kid whom the bully just beaten up - what do they do?

They run away to their father, stand behind him and shout obscenities at the bigger kid while also telling the father: "he beat me up, dad!".

One of the Georgian parliament members did not settle Saturday for the call for American aid, urging Israel to help stop the Russian offensive as well: "We need help from the UN and from our friends, headed by the United States and Israel. Today Georgia is in danger – tomorrow all the democratic countries in the region and in the entire world will be in danger too."

My my, such a statement that opens people's eyes we have here.

On one side - the good, angelic Georgians, who tried to murder Ossetian civilians and grab their territory, supported by Israel and America, and on the other side, the evil Ossetia, who broke away from Georgia because they are a totally different ethnic group than Georgians (who have a history of treating Ossetians harshly, as second class citizens) and Russia, the evil and terrible Russia, which stepped in in order to prevent Georgians massacring Ossetian civilians - men, women and children fleeing from bombarded, demolished, burning villages, towns, cities away from the Georgian soldiers.

And now the bully, led by an Israeli no less (I can't make this shit up), is trying to hide behind daddy (USA), and screaming to all who will hear, pointing at Russia: "dad, he tried to beat me up!".

The US media is pathetic.
The Western Europeans, who get their natural (heating) gas and other resources from Russia, making noises against Russia, pathetic.

But Eastern Europe, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, etc, barking against Russia on an official trip to Georgia to show "solidarity" with mass murderers, with ethnic cleansing war criminals, with people who launched a surprise attack on the first day of the Olympics (traditionally armed conflict is suspended during the Olympics - part of the ancient Greek heritage, you see) - I cannot find the word that describes the revulsion, the disgust, the loathing and yes, the pity I feel at the sukas (bitches) who yap and bark and wag their tails depening on how their master orders them to behave...

The defense minister lived in Israel.....when will the subterfuge end.

I just cant believe the US is backing a pipeline that was expressly built to circumvent Armenia. I guess genocide wasn't enough.

I hope the Russian throw a spanner in the works and give the Armenian region in Georgia (Samtskhe-Javakheti) autonomy. Mind you the pipeline to Turkey actually runs through there........

Once again, great angle AmericanGoy.

Quoting from another article
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3580522,00.html

Former Israeli ambassador to Georgia says 'it's a shame war broke out during one of country's most prosperous periods'. Adds: When I was growing up we always considered South Ossetia, Abkhazia to be part of Georgia.

"The private company of Brig.-Gen. (res.) Gal Hirsch (Galilee Division commander during the Second Lebanon War) has been operating in Georgia for some time now and is providing consultation to the Georgian army," he noted.

Why don't you change the name of your blog to The World According to Ahmadinejad? That would be more accurate.
