A sandwich shop owner endured an eight-hour grilling by police and had his computer seized for three weeks – after cracking sick Nelson Mandela jokes on the net.  Neil Phillips, who runs Crumbs in the heart of former staunch Staffordshire mining community Rugeley, says he was quizzed, finger-printed and DNA swabbed following complaints about what he refers to as “Bernard Manning” gags.
In one, he posted: “My PC takes so long to shut down I’ve decided to call it Nelson Mandela.”

Mr Phillips, 44, is one of two men interviewed by police following a bitter, ill-tempered feud over plans for a mining memorial in the town centre – a well-intentioned project that, claims one leading councillor and barrister, has been ambushed by some members of the Far Right and used as a propaganda platform.

A guy who destroys a working White European country, his life and achievement is celebrated worldwide, especially in White European countries.

The Telegraph, UK: Lech Walesa 'will never return to London' after being searched at Heathrow  ,  dated 14 October 2013.

Lech Walesa, the Polish former president, has said he will "never go to London again" after complaining about being searched at Heathrow airport's border control.

Travelling to the UK for the British premiere of a new biopic charting his struggle against communist rule, Mr Walesa, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, also claimed Polish embassy officials had "abandoned" him to his fate during the incident.

Mr Walesa said the embassy had assured him that he would receive a VIP pass when he landed in the UK but instead of being ushered through without let or hindrance he got a very different reception.

"When I landed it turned out the embassy had done nothing," he told a local newspaper in his hometown of Gdansk. "What I got instead were some mischievous guards who didn't like Poles, and when they saw me they began to rifle through my belongings.

"They got my suitcase and pulled out my pants and socks; everything was visible," he added. "It was embarrassing."

Do keep in mind that Mr. Walesa is an ex-president of Poland.

Tributes to passenger who died when stolen car hit wall

Shoaib Khan, who was  killed by impact, wanted to become a millionaire and look after his family, says cousin

 A passenger in a stolen car who died when it smashed into a wall wanted to become a millionaire and look after his family, a friend said.

Shoaib Khan was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at the junction of Clifton Road and Lime Grove in Balsall Heath at 2.30am yesterday.

The 24-year-old, from Sparkhill, was travelling in an Audi A6 which had been stolen in Hodge Hill hours earlier.

But Mr Khan’s cousin Shamran Khan, 25, insisted the dead man was devoted to his family.
“If anyone has hate or dislike in their heart for him then they should forgive him,” he said.
“He was a loving person. He loved his mum and dad, younger brother and two sisters.
“He used to help out whoever he could. There is a big part of us missing now.”

The UK's version of  "he was a good boy, he diden do nuthin!".

Man who launched knife attack on his pregnant ex jailed for 15 years

 

A Great Barr man who carried out a frenzied knife attack on his pregnant former girlfriend has been jailed for 15 years.

Andre Smith attacked the woman, who was six months into her pregnancy, with such ferocity that two knives broke.

The victim, who had split from Smith four years earlier, was left critically injured with nine stab wounds and went into premature labour.

Smith, aged 25, of Hampstead Road, admitted attempted murder and a further charge of attempted child destruction was ordered to lie on file at Worcester Crown Court.

Smith broke into the Kidderminster home late at night on July 28 and attacked her in front her young child with such force the knife broke. He then dragged her into the kitchen and grabbed a second knife and stabbed her with that, until it too snapped.

The screams of the woman and child alerted neighbours and her current partner, who she had been talking to on the phone.

Smith fled but was arrested in Hagley a short time later after ringing the police to tell them what he had done.
