In case you missed it on American TV, Turkey invades Iraq:
And yes, it is a real war between the Kurdish PKK and the Turkish Armed Forces, with both Turkish and Kurd casualties:

Thank goodness that CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, MSNBC, CNN, FOXnews work so hard to keep us Americans informed!
Quick, tell me what is the latest "hot" stock I should buy? And what is up with Britney these days?
Pssst! This has been going on for a while now. The Turkish invasion started on Friday, Feb 22, 2008.

Not only has it been going on for a while, but it was predicted. Vanity Fair is only one site that has been sounding the alarm for years : TomDispatch another, GlobalResearch.ca and on. I was going to refer to my link cache at TPM Cafe to get the NSA Archive designation for Desert Crossing - only to find it missing. That's the wargame scenario for after the invasion of Iraq.
WTF : this guy seems crazy but OMG does he come up with some hummers.http://salonesoterica.wordpress.com/
Huh. That wasn't so hard after all :http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/
NSAEBB/NSAEBB207/index.htm Try it before it gets broken again. I couldn't post it into comments as it's too long to fit.
I keep all sorts of interesting items on my shelf at the website. When WordPress delisted oldephartteintraining I set up a new index.
