The story is being changed by the media - Now it is blood for oil re: Iraq

The media is starting to question the purpose of the Iraq war. Anybody with half a brain cell does not believe in the official explanations offered by the US government; neither the "We were after WMD's! nor the "We're here to liberate the Iraqis!"

Nobody is that stupid.

And so the media is offering a new meme, a new story to the gullible (but less and less gullible) masses: It was a War for Oil.

Washington post article is here: A Crude Case For War?:

But that doesn't mean that oil had nothing to do with the invasion. In his recent memoir, former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan said: "I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: The Iraq war is largely about oil."

See? Everyone knows that the Iraq war is largely about oil. End of story - and see, nutters, truthers and conspiracy cooks - here is your conspiracy. There it is - now please don't ask any further questions.

The controversial details were all part of the larger strategic picture. "When we first decided on the war, I don't remember oil playing an important part," says Brent Scowcroft, national security adviser under the elder Bush and a critic of the current president's decision to invade.

But that's because concern about oil supplies is part of the architecture of U.S. foreign policy. Scowcroft notes that oil can't be disregarded because Iraq and its neighbors sit on two-thirds of the world's oil reserves. But oil needn't be mentioned either because it's self-evident. War critics might call that the perfect conspiracy.

Oh, of course - we Americans are all part of the conspiracy because we all know that the war in Iraq is all about oil. We just didn't want the world to know, but now we don't care. Sort of a "Ha ha, world, we are really just bullies who go into a country and steal their stuff. We are the Nelson from the Simpsons', the big dumb bully!".

Look for ALL the media now - the CNN's, the FOX's, to run with this meme, this new story. This questions will be asked by idiotic women on morning shows on your TV in the morning, by Wolf Blitzer, by Lou Dobbs.

But please, THINK for a second here.

If we as a country are ready to admit that the war was about oil - that we are a big bully who basically barged in, beat up a weaker opponent and stole his stuff - why are we doing this?

This does not make the USA look at all good.

The only answer that I can come up with, is, using the twin weapons of logic and common sense, this:

When you admit something shameful, it is to turn attention from something worse, something even more shameful, something that at no point and at all cost cannot be admitted as the reason for war - main or partial.

Readers of my blog already know what that is - but even if you did, I urge you to reread my article about the real causes of the Iraq war and contrast it to the "blood for oil" meme that the media will now start to put out on TV and newspapers.

Bonus Material:

These "War for Oil?" messages in the media (question mark is necessary, as the media pundits will make it a question in their articles, to plant the idea in people's heads without a shred of proof) will come thick and fast. Here's a sample already:

Australia's theage admits Iraq war about oil.

TheTimes quotes Alan Greenspan

John McLaughlin "It's the oil, stupid!"

Salon.com admits of course it is about oil.

Some of these are from 2008, some earlier. But definitely look for a spike in the media stories about "Iraq war was for oil!" stories.

Things are starting to get a little hot out there for a certain group of people who helped lie this country into the Iraq war to begin with.

And with the economy imploding, due in no small part to the Iraq war, some of the people that are going to get laid off from work and lose their houses are going to start asking some questions and the answers are going to make that certain group of people a bit antzy, since they don't like having the cold, hard light of day shine on their handiwork.

Some people already know the answer of why in the hell we went to war in Iraq. They are the ones who visit the cemetary regularly to see the tombstone of their loved one.

Others are coming around and starting to realize we've been played for a bunch of saps and suckers and that if we don't get our head out of our collective arse, we're going to be fighting another war for that certain group of people.

Thanfully, the Internet has opened up a whole world of possibilites to people wanting to know stuff that actually affects their lives and not whether or not Britney is wearing any undewear.

Listen to what former CIA employee Ray McGovern says abou the war:

"I have initials for why I think we went to war in Iraq," McGovern said. "O.I.L. O-I-L, O is for oil, I is for Israel and L is for logistics, as in when we have Iraq we have a foothold and a number of bases strategically placed in the Middle East so we can be in control over there and also to protect Israel."

Mr. McGovern's OIL shows that 2 out of 3 reasons was for Israel.
Throw in the fact that Israel is slated to get Iraq oil pumped from N. Iraq to Israel and all three reasons point to Israel.

NEVER AGAIN!

NO MORE AMERICAN BLOOD FOR ISRAEL!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!

Israel is in the mix. Norman Podhoretz, William Kristol, Richard Perle, Doulas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, Scooter Libby, the Kagan brothers, Michael Ledeen are among the cheerleaders for the war. But it's very important not to call-out Jews because Howard Zinn, Chomsky, and John Stewart are Jews who do not support the war.
Iraq does have an awful lot of oil reserves.
I support Israel and us acquiring as much oil as possible, but invading Iraq isn't the way to go about it.

I think the argument could work either way. Israel is strategic because of oil. What other real reason would we have backing them to the degree we do?

I think also part of the admission is because every other reason has fallen apart. There's really little else to claim as a reason that could have any legitimacy. Everyone always knew oil was a major part of it from the start. We didn't fool ourselves or the world.

Unfortunately you are all wrong and fell for another psyop to masquerade the real reason. Everyone will come to find THAT out way too late. The amount of leaks and disclosures coming out from other countries and patriots of this 1 though can not be silenced by a crafty internet censor force that quickly tries to debunk any outbreak of the REAL TRUTH and they are doing a mighty fine job.

Pole Shift is IMMINENT. The government's of the world KNOW they can not feed their mass populations in their vast underground complexes they have constructed for the last 15 or more years. Those that support/lie/cheat for this deception are granted automatic safety status in the lavish bunkers that they think they will be safe to ride out the coming baptism of fire that will sweep the planet as soon as the electromagnetic protection of earth falls to the most active sunspot cycle in history.

RESEARCH THIS YOURSELF.
The facts are plain as day once you put the pieces together. WAKE UP!
