Daily Kos' reaction to my posting "rednecks" as a DKos diary

Update: DKos has deleted my comments (and of course left all those calling me an idiot). The comments I made were basically this post: compare democrats and republican vote over FISA, bailout, Iraq War, patriot act and spot any differences. I of course included the Noam Chomsky quote that I used in this article.

All. Deleted. Including the people who replied to me.

Meanwhile, comments that use the word troll, moron and are extremely offensive are left intact.

It is obvious - dissent is not tolerated at Daily Kos, group think is on, and comments ARE being deleted.

Fanatics.

Almost like a cult.

I invite you to peruse the comments, but be wary - the group think is on.

AG posts "rednecks" on Daily Kos

The phrase "foaming at the mouth, spit drizzling at the floor" comes to mind.

Alas, people still believe in the right versus left (remember that is the frame - there is NO left wing in Yoo Ess of Ey, only centrists and the far right), republican versus democrat paradigm.

Let me respond to these true believers, the cult of group think, with this:
The great Noam Chomsky speaks on the subject of the state of the American political system:

The United States effectively has a one-party system, the business party, with two factions, Republicans and Democrats. There are differences between them. In his study Unequal Democracy: The Political Economy of the New Gilded Age, Larry Bartels shows that during the past six decades "real incomes of middle-class families have grown twice as fast under Democrats as they have under Republicans, while the real incomes of working-poor families have grown six times as fast under Democrats as they have under Republicans".

Differences can be detected in the current election as well. Voters should consider them, but without illusions about the political parties, and with the recognition that consistently over the centuries, progressive legislation and social welfare have been won by popular struggles, not gifts from above.

The two parties say different things to get elected, but how do they act?

Actions speak louder than words to me.

Lets go through a list of MEANINGFUL (emphasis - bold and capitalized - necessary) legislation and see if there are any differences between the American political parties.

FISA?
Both voted for it.

Patriot Act?
Both voted for it.

Iraq War?
Both voted for it and continue to vote for it.

The bailout of the elite?
Both voted for it and will vote for more of taxpayer money to be used up, and will continue to vote for further bailouts and FED actions, which will saddle my children, my kids' kids with an incredible amount of debt.

So, yes, there are differences - on cultural issues. Abortion is a big issue, and so are heartland values (whatever that phrase means). And also it seems that whoever wears a bigger American (or Israeli, depending on the venue) flag wins.

But important legislation? FISA, Patriot Act, War in Iraq?

Any differences between the two parties?

Feel free to post some pictures of kittens as a reply, DKos.

Actually, do some research. the FISA "compromise" was widely condemned at the Daily Kos.

The bailout was widely debated; frankly I don't know what to think there.

The Iraq war was roundly condemned; that is probably the main reason HRC was not the candidate of choice there.

This is why we need the Daily AntiKos because there is no other way to respond.

Daily KOS has a well run mob of Brown Shirts, goose stepping about the site, ready to smash any dissent that questions party ideologies.

They wield the "delete" button as handily as a goon squad member does a truncheon.

What exactly are the VERBOTEN areas is somwhat grey to outsiders, except you can not critize Israel in any way, shape or form.
